Nick Carter is coming to Manila and Cebu this May
No games here: Nick Carter is coming to the Philippines!
Local concert organizer Wilbros Live announced that Nick will be bringing his solo “Who I Am” Tour to the Philippines with a stop in Manila on Friday, May 24 at the New Frontier Theater and in Cebu on Thursday, May 23 at the Waterfront Hotel Ballroom.
He will also be bringing his solo tour—his first in seven years—to other parts of Asia, including India, Indonesia, and Singapore.
Nick will be performing "songs that we grew up with" from the '80s and early '90s, some Backstreet Boys hits, and singles from his solo albums, including Made For Us and Superman.
Speaking to Billboard last year, Nick said that the stage is his second home and will always be a musician.
"When I got back home and was finally able to be with the family, it was so amazing, but I’m a musician, I’m a performer. I love music, and so I decided that I wanted to get back on the road and do what I love,” he said.
Moreover, after the passing of his siblings Aaron Carter and Bobbie Jean Carter in 2022 and 2023, respectively, he said that performing would "help [him] during this time."
“Music is therapeutic to me and we all find ways to manage the things that we’re going through in life. Getting out there and performing for fans and just being who I am — it’ll help me during this time,” he said.
Tickets to the Manila show will be available at TicketNet.com.ph and TicketNet outlets, and the Cebu show at SMTickets.com and SM Tickets outlets.
Fan club pre-sale will be on Friday, February 16 at 11 a.m. and general on-sale on Saturday, February 17 at 11 a.m.
Nick was just in Manila last year for the Backstreet Boys' "DNA World Tour" at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay.
