PCSO responds to medical needs of Abra de Ilog, Occidental Mindoro
The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) turned over donated medicines to the Municipality of Abra de Ilog, Occidental Mindoro, on Sept. 2, as part of its continued efforts to support local healthcare services and address the medical needs of communities.
Led by Medical Services Department Manager Dra. Clarissa Ferrer, the turnover was held at the PCSO Conservatory Building, where Abra de Ilog Vice Mayor Patria Unika Polinag-Almajo received the donated medicines.
Polinag-Almajo expressed her appreciation to PCSO for extending medical assistance to the municipality and conveyed her gratitude to PCSO General Manager Melquiades A. Robles and the agency’s management for their continued support of communities outside Metro Manila.

The donated medicines will be utilized in the municipality’s medical programs and services to help provide residents with access to essential medicines.
The assistance is part of PCSO’s Medicine Donation Program, through which the agency provides medicines to local government units and other qualified beneficiaries to help address the healthcare needs of communities.
