Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo throws shade at American Airlines after she was asked to cover up her sports bra
Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo shared a snap on her Instagram as if she is throwing shades at someone.
On her Instagram post, the 29-year old model posted a carousel of her in a beige stringed sexy dress captioned, “Please use caution while using the overheard bins as items may have shifted during flight” which her followers reminded of an incident involving Culpo and American Airlines.
"You handled that like a pro," commented closet designer Lisa Adams.
The post follows the incident when American Airlines asked Culpo to put more clothes on before a recent flight to Mexico after her outfit was deemed "inappropriate."
"Olivia and I are going to Cabo and look at her outfit," her sister Aurora said in her Instagram story, panning the camera to the former beauty queen, who was wearing a long black cardigan, sports bra, biker shorts, and a face mask.
"She looks cute. She looks appropriate. No," she added.
Aurora continued, "They call her up to the desk and tell her that she needs to put a blouse on, otherwise she can't get on the plane," which Olivia likewise shared her sister’s IG story to her own Instagram and wrote, "Tell me is that not so f----- up."
In order to get onto the plane, the former beauty queen borrowed her boyfriend’s grey hoodie over her outfit and poked the Carolina Panthers player as Olivia shared a shot of him with his arms tucked into his shirt as if the guy is helplessly making himself warm. She wrote, "When you freeze bc ur lady dress inappropriate AF. Exactly how Jack from the titanic died. LMAO."
Meanwhile, American Airlines spokesperson told PEOPLE they had no further comment about the incident.
