Give Hope Project accepts donations for typhoon survivors

Published Nov 26, 2020 3:00 pm

With the collective support of employees, partners and customers, Vista Mall and Starmall recently launched Give Hope Project, the malls’ response to help the families affected by Typhoons Rolly, Siony, and Ulysses.

Donation booths are available at the common areas of all Vista Malls, Starmalls, and Vista Lifestyle Centers, NOMO and Evia.

Give Hope Project accepts cash, new clothes, bottled water, canned goods, medicine, sanitary products, and other essential supplies. A separate donation box is set up available exclusively for cash donations.

The first wave of donations will be forwarded to the victims in Cagayan, through their local government unit, where hundreds of families were affected by the intense flooding and rains.

The Give Hope Project aims to provide much-needed help to allow those who were displaced by recent calamities to be able to bounce back quickly. Vista Mall and Starmall encourage their customers from all over the country to send in their donations no matter the size or quantity. The goal in setting up the donation drive is to empower the communities these malls are a part of by providing them with an avenue to extend their help and support to those in need—without having to consider location or logistics; they just need to drop off donations and the malls will take care of the rest.

During the height of these typhoons’ onslaught, Vista Mall and Starmalls offered overnight parking, restrooms, power outlets for charging, and free WiFi access to those who were stranded and needed shelter from the storm. The malls also made sure that essential services remain open and available for customers to allow them to be fully prepared in the face of calamity.

Give Hope Project donation boxes are deployed at Vista Malls and Starmalls nationwide.

The Give Hope Stations are available at the following malls: Vista Mall Antipolo, Vista Mall Bataan, Vista Mall Daang Hari, Vista Mall Dasmariñas, Vista Mall General Trias, Vista Mall Iloilo, Vista Mall Las Piñas, Vista Mall Lakefront, Vista Mall Malolos, Vista Mall Naga, Vista Mall Pampanga, Vista Mall Sta. Rosa, Vista Mall Tanza, Vista Mall Taguig, Starmall Alabang, Starmall Talisay-Cebu, Starmall EDSA-Shaw, Starmall San Jose Del Monte, Evia Lifestyle Center, and NOMO - A Vista Lifestyle Center.
