‘F—king disgusting’: Pizzeria jokingly offers ‘Jeffrey Dahmer Special’ for Halloween

A pizzeria in Texas is jokingly offering a “Jeffrey Dahmer Special” for the Halloween season, which made netizens raise concerns about insensitivity to the serial killer’s victims and the latter’s relatives.

According to TMZ, Capital Pizza in Lubbock now welcomes its customers with a display featuring fingers, eyeballs, and other prop body parts on top of fake blood and guts. The manager said the suggestion came from one of the servers, adding that the pie is made of ramen noodles and pepperoncino garnish.

While it was made just “for fun” and some actually “loved it,” there have been complaints from customers who found it insensitive and disrespectful to the families of the ones he murdered. Internet users have been sharing the same sentiments with the latter on social media, too.

“There’s a pizza place in Texas that now has ‘The Jeffrey Dahmer Special’ that literally looks so f—king disgusting. Whatever you’re picturing, I promise you this is worse. Just further proof that there are some really twisted a*s people in this world,” a netizen wrote on Twitter.

“That is so disturbing!” another one said.

“Just seen that a restaurant is offering a ‘Jeffrey Dahmer Special’ like what the f—k is wrong with people?” someone tweeted.

“That is disgusting and so disrespectful to the families of the victims!” added an Internet user.

TMZ noted that the “Jeffrey Dahmer Special” is merely a display and it’s not on the menu. The manager is also planning to get rid of it as soon as the spooky season is over.

Dahmer has been the talk of the town since the release of Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story on Netflix, which detailed how he murdered 17 teen boys from 1978 to 1991 due to his “obsessive desires of wanting to control them, possess them permanently.” Eventually, he went ahead and ate his victims out of curiosity that turned into an addicting thought of “wanting them to feel like they’re a part of me.”

His killing spree, which lasted for 13 years, met its end when one of his targets managed to escape and report him to the police. He was sentenced to life in prison in 1992 but got beaten to death by his fellow inmate in 1994.
