The Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) has addressed the viral random train date videos on TikTok, stressing that such content did not have proper authorization from the management.

LRTA called out the viral videos uploaded by TikTok user @trionkwentos for posting videos of them setting up a table and serving food to random strangers on a moving train.

“The Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) would like to clarify that the videos titled “random train date” uploaded by @TrionKwentos, were created without proper authorization or clearance from the LRTA management,” they wrote in the statement on Monday, Sept. 9.

“Such activities are strictly prohibited on LRTA premises and facilities,” they stressed.

They also urged content creators to “act responsibly” by respecting fellow passengers and adhering to the management’s safety and security regulations, stressing that safety and consideration should remain the top priority.

“The LRTA reserves the right to take appropriate action against individuals who violate safety and guidelines,” they continued.

The user has three random train date videos, one of which has over 140,000 views as of writing.
