Letran player Pao Javillonar was accussed of touching and grabbing College of Saint Benilde player Will Gozum’s behind during the 3rd quarter of the finals game last Sunday, Dec. 4, earning him a warning from the referee.

In an interview, Gozum expressed his dismay over Javillonar’s action.

"Ganun 'yung ugali niya siguro. We don't tolerate that kind of player. Siguro physicality, matatanggap ko pero 'yung ganoon? Kahit sino namang player, madidismaya sa ganoon but okay lang, tanggap ko naman. Kung ganoon siya, so be it," Gozum said.

The tactic gained a variety of reactions from netizens. Some said that it was just a game and that there was no need to make a big deal out of it, while others were concerned.

"Kasama tlaga sa laro yan, lalo kung mag ka biruan naman kayo. Wag masyadong sensitive sa mga ganung bagay that's ball game," one commenter said.

Some netizens pointed out that it was inappropriate and considered as sexual harassment, a crime under the Republic Act 7877. This action also falls under acts of lasciviousness under Article 336 of the Revised Penal Code.

"That's clearly sexual harassment, intentional," another wrote, adding that the organization should consider filing a case against Javillonar.
