A 27-year-old woman welcomed six babies within an hour.

Local media outlet Dawn reported that Zeenat Waheed of Pakistan delivered sextuplets at the District Headquarters Hospital earlier this month, marking her first childbirth.

Each of the four boys and two girls weighed below two pounds.

In an interview with Dawn, Dr. Farzana, the hospital’s medical superinrendent, said that the little rays of sunshine are now in good condition. “The doctors have however put the babies in an incubator,” he said.

The duty officer at the labor room told Dawn that it was “not a normal delivery” and Zeenat suffered some complications after giving birth. “In the delivery sequence, the baby girl was third,” they shared.

Medical experts said Zeenat could get better in the coming days.

According to a report by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, sextuplet births are "extremely rare."

Citing a hospital, the news outlet reported that chances of delivering six babies are at one in around 4.7 billion.
