The Philippines just achieved a new milestone in the prestigious 2026 MICHELIN Key hotel selection! From last year's five awarded properties, the country now has nine distinguished hotels and resorts.

Raffles Makati advanced to Two MICHELIN Keys, joined by new entrant El Nido Resorts Lagen Island, which also debuted with two keys.

Meanwhile, seven properties earned One MICHELIN Key, featuring returning favorites Nay Palad Hideaway in Siargao, Fairmont Makati in Manila, and Amanpulo on Pamalican Island.

Rounding out the list are four new One-Key additions: NUSTAR Hotel Cebu, El Nido Resorts Pangulasian Island, Hotel Okura Manila at Newport World Resorts, and Manami Resort in Sipalay City.

According to Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of The MICHELIN Guide, this second global selection reflects the extraordinary momentum driving the hospitality sector.

“This second global selection of the MICHELIN Keys reflects the extraordinary momentum driving the hospitality sector once again this year. With nearly 470 newly distinguished establishments, we are witnessing a continuous upscaling of the offering, driven by even more creative and ambitious projects. All around the world, hoteliers are reinventing the stay experience through more immersive, personalized, and experiential concepts,” Poullennec said.

Poullennec added that this evolution, driven by visionary independent hoteliers and major international groups alike, celebrates the diversity, vitality, and excellence of an ever-evolving industry that continues to push the boundaries of travel.

"The 2026 selection thus celebrates the diversity, vitality, and excellence of an ever-evolving sector, one that continues to push the boundaries of the hospitality experience and invite travelers to discover new destinations.” Poullennec continued.

Globally, the selection now features 2,832 MICHELIN Key hotels across 79 countries, comprising 155 Three-Key properties, 657 Two-Key properties, and 2,020 One-Key properties.
