If you’re looking for a new spot to spend your day while reading a book, head to Makati as the free pop-up library is returning this April.

The Book Stop Project announced that they will be having the latest iteration of their open library on April 20 at Ayala Triangle Gardens in Makati City in celebration of Dia del Libro or International Book Day.

In case you didn’t know, The Book Stop Project is an initiative that started in 2016 that aims to encourage reading as well as “[share] ideas through the redistribution of books” and making them accessible to the public with its "give a book, get a book" policy.

It features functional and stunning architecture by WTA Architecture and Design Studio in collaboration this time with Ayala Land and Instituto Cervantes. It currently has a permanent pop-up at Plaza Roma in Intramuros, Manila.

Here, you can also explore works from a wide range of authors, including international bestsellers like Thomas Friedman and Neil Gaiman, or discover local gems by Jahric Lago.

If you wish to donate books, you may drop them off at Instituto Cervantes located on the ground floor of Ayala Tower One.
