K-pop group ASTRO’s Moonbin passes away at 25
Moonbin of K-pop group ASTRO has passed away. He was 25.
According to Korean entertainment site Soompi, the Seoul Gangnam Police Station reported that the singer was found dead in his home on Wednesday, April 19 by his manager, who alerted the authorities immediately.
“We are currently discussing the possibility of an autopsy to determine the precise cause of death,” police said.
Soompi reported that Moonbin was supposed to take part in an upcoming concert under the ASTRO unit Moonbin&Sanha.
ASTRO debuted in 2016 with MJ, Jinjin, Cha Eun-woo, Moon Bin, Yoon San-ha, and Rocky.
Their debut single, Hide and Seek, made them part of Billboard's 10 Best New K-pop Groups that year.
The group is best known for their hit songs All Night, Knock, One, and After Midnight.
