Cathay Pacific closes NAIA Terminal 3 lounge permanently
Cathay Pacific has closed its passenger lounge at Manila's Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3.
In a statement sent to PhilSTAR L!fe, Cathay Pacific said that the closure was part of the ongoing terminal redevelopment at Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
"Our Cathay Pacific lounge in Manila permanently closed on 31 May 2026, following the last Cathay Pacific flight departure from NAIA," they said.
"While we have endeavoured to extend the timeline for the lounge’s closure, regrettably we have been unable to do so," they continued.
The airline said that eligible customers and Cathay members may visit the First Meridian Lounge on Level 4 in Terminal 3 when departing from NAIA.
"We apologise for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding," the statement ended.
The Cathay Pacific Lounge at NAIA Terminal 3 reopened in March 2023, almost three years after its temporary closure in 2020.
The renovated lounge offered travelers its iconic Noodle Bar—complete with fresh Hong Kong specialties—alongside a drinks bar, a modern-looking dedicated quiet zone, and a business center area called The Bureau.
