This March, you can watch Filipino musical Mula sa Buwan in theaters and online.

After its successful 2022 show, the popular original musical will soon be able to reach a wider audience now that the play be streamed online and shown in theaters.

On its official Facebook page, the organizers said that screenings will be held on March 18, at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., at Circuit Cinemas 3 & 4 at Ayala Malls Circuit in Makati.

Streaming, meanwhile, will take place on March 24, 25, and 26.

"Kahit nasaan ka man, ika’y makakalipad na rin papunta buwan!" Mula sa Buwan's page said. "We’re excited to bring our story of love and resistance closer to you!"

Mula Sa Buwan is based on the 1897 play Cyrano de Bergerac. It was adapted to the Filipino setting by Pat Valera and William Elvin Manzano in 2010.

The musical revolves around unrequited love set in 1940s Manila, where young idealists fight for their place in a country on the brink of war. Myke Salomon plays World War II soldier, Cyrano, while Gab Pangilinan plays his strong love interest, Roxane.

Apart from the two, the play also sees Markki Stroem as Christian, Phi Palmos as Rosanna, MC Dela Cruz as Maximo, Jon Abella as Tato, and Jillian Ita-as as Gabriel.

Salomon also serves as the show's musical director.

Tickets are available via Ticket2Me. Philippine audiences may purchase tickets now, while international sales will take place on March 3.
