Ivana Trump excludes Donald Trump from will and leaves $34M assets to heirs, including $1M condo to nanny
The late wife of former United States president Donald Trump left behind $34 million (over P1.8 billion) of assets for heirs, including their nanny. He, however, gets nothing.
Forbes reported that Ivana Trump's will specified that most of the assets should be split between her three children, Don Jr., Ivanka, and Eric.
Forbes said the most prominent asset is Ivana's townhouse in New York. Heirs are trying to sell it for $26.5 million (over P1.4 billion), the final price of which is to be divided among the three children.
Another major beneficiary of Ivana's estate is their decades-long nanny Dorothy Curry. She's set to receive a condo unit in Florida worth over $1 million (over P55 million), as well as Ivana's Yorkshire terrier named Tiger Trump.
In her very own book Raising Trump, Ivana described Curry as a religious woman who taught her kids to pray. The trump kids also described Curry as their second mother.
Ivana also left two overseas properties for friends, as well as her ex-husband Rossano Rubicondi, but he passed away before she did.
She also left some for charity, with her will stating that all her clothes be given to the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army.
Her furs, however, must be sold and its proceeds will to her three children, according to her will.
All but for Donald.
He and Ivana, then a model, got married in 1977. They divorced in 1992 following Donald's affair with actress Maria Maples.
Aside from being a model, Ivana was a fashion designer and beauty product specialist. She met her end on July 14, 2022, due to blunt impact injuries to the torso after falling down her stairs at her home. She was 73.
