Attention to all the travel junkies out there, The Travel Intern wants to pay you P25,000 to travel.

For the first time ever, the Singapore-based community of explorers is looking for "interns" based in the Philippines, and will be offering full-time jobs for those who pass the program.

"After 2 years without travelling, we’re back and looking for our 1st batch of content creation interns based in the Philippines," it wrote on its blog.

They are specifically looking for videographers and content producers who are passionate about creating travel content—not those who are looking to travel for free—and independent individuals who are not afraid to work remotely.

Additionally, chosen candidates must be able to communicate in English fluently, be comfortable in front of the camera, determine viral angles and stories, and most importantly, have a valid passport and laptop that they can use in their travels.

Those who are planning to apply for the Travel Intern’s videographer position should be able to do the following: edit on Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, operate DSLRs and mirrorless cameras, edit sound design and coloring, and edit on tight deadlines. (It's a plus if you know how to operate drones, too!)

Meanwhile, those who want to apply for the content producer position should know how to write captions with correct grammar, create travel itineraries, research and do administrative tasks, and must be knowledgeable in basic editing for photos and videos on social media.

The full-time internship program will last up to six months, starting from end of July 2022. Interns will have a monthly allowance of P25,000 and will be able to travel around the country and to at least one international destination—all expenses paid.

Interns will be on a remote working arrangement, and will likely to meet once a month.

To apply, all you have to do is follow these steps:

Step 1: Find out if you’re able to commit between Jul to Dec 2022 and read this FAQ for people living in the Philippines.

Step 2: Tag the Travel Intern on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Tiktok so they could see your best works on social media.

Step 3: Complete this application form on or before July 3, 2022. In the form, you will be asked to upload a 60s video telling them why you want to join, and a portfolio showing your best works.

The Singapore-based community of explorers has been inspiring travelers to travel better, smarter, and braver through writing, photography, and filmmaking since 2016.

They have travelled to over 44 countries with 177 trips.
