May-December Affair kicks off the ‘ber’ months with an early Christmas affair
May-December Affair is getting a head start on the 2026 holiday season. With its debut last May with “A Community Love Affair to Remember,” the immersive third space already had a second run in July with “Another Community Affair to Remember."
Both events were well-received by the community, bringing together residents, non-residents, customers, visitors, and partner merchants.
Now, it is all set to welcome the most celebrated season of the year with “A Stellar September: Christmas Starts Here!”
Set for September 12 to 13 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., the event will take place at the Clubhouse Covered Court & Plaza of San Lorenzo Village in Makati, with free admission for everyone.
With the holiday season peaking around the corner, May-December Affair believes the season should be savored—a time to slow down, see its true essence, and spend it with loved ones.
Their vision is clear: to enable immersive, intentional third spaces where communities can come together, connect, and make meaningful experiences.
In partnership with PhilSTAR Media Group’s advocacy project NakakaLocal, micro, small, and medium enterprises are given a platform to connect with the community, grow their businesses, and showcase their proudly Filipino products.
Together, May-December Affair and NakakaLocal create a space where communities can celebrate the season, discover local brands, and support Filipino entrepreneurs.
A festive weekend awaits
Imagine the richness and magic of December unfolding as early as September, bringing the joy of the season closer to communities sooner. This year, they are starting the season early and welcoming it warmly with a curated Christmas community.
Visitors can expect a curated selection of unique market finds, from various must-try food and beverage specialties to premium lifestyle products with exclusive offerings only during the event. Holiday gifting ideas and packages will also be available for visitors to explore and choose from.
Five NakakaLocal MSMEs will also be participating in the event, offering guests more opportunities to discover and support Filipino-made products. The participating MSMEs are Corrsy’s Kitchen, Magpoc’s Pastry Products Manufacturing, TBH Cosmetics, Craftcha, and Cotton & Canvas.
Discover activities, sessions, and workshops that bring together creativity, wellness, self-expression, and connection.
Activities include creative journaling, modern brush calligraphy, family yoga, wellness scanning, painting sessions, Floral Bouquet 101, tarot, oracle and palm readings, energy healing, sound baths, live doodling, nostalgic photo booths, and more.
