Miss Universe Philippines Organization announces date for 2023 coronation night
We’re just over two months away from meeting the country’s new Miss Universe Philippines queen.
The Miss Universe Philippines Organization has finally announced on Friday, March 3, the official date for its grand coronation this year through its official Facebook account
“The most beautiful day in the Philippines is on its way!” the organization wrote. "Our next Miss Universe Philippines will be crowned on May 13, 2023 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena."
Further details about the time, ticket prices, and ticket-selling dates are yet to be announced.
Besides Miss Universe Philippines 2023, the pageant body will crown two other queens that are yet to be announced.
This year’s pageant has been one of the most awaited editions yet for having a batch of candidates consisting of known celebrities and returning beauty queens. This is also the first batch to include beauty queen moms.
The upcoming queen will succeed Celeste Cortesi, who represented the Philippines in Miss Universe 2022 in New Orleans held in January. The winner is set to compete at the 72nd Miss Universe that will be held in El Salvador later this year.
