Maya Mini Payments lets cardholders turn purchases into installments with just a few taps

Maya, the leading digital financial services platform in the Philippines, has launched Mini Payments, a new feature that allows cardholders to turn eligible credit card purchases into monthly payments directly within the Maya app—even after a purchase has already been made. 

With just a few taps, customers can convert eligible posted purchases into 3-, 6-, 9-, or 12-month payment plans without relying on merchant-specific installment offers or promotional periods. Multiple eligible purchases can also be combined into a single payment plan, making it easier to manage spending under one repayment schedule. 

Flexibility after check-out 

Unlike traditional installment programs that are often available only at participating merchants, Mini Payments gives customers the freedom to decide later how they want to pay for a purchase. Whether it's a planned expense or an unexpected purchase, customers can create payment plans based on their needs after checkout rather than at the point of sale. 

The entire experience—from selecting purchases and reviewing payment schedules to tracking repayments—is managed directly within the Maya app, giving customers a seamless, fully digital way to manage their credit card spending.

Customers can create payment plans, monitor balances, track repayment schedules, and manage their credit cards directly within the Maya app. Before confirming a plan, customers can review monthly payment plans, payment schedules, and remaining balances, helping them make more informed decisions about how they manage their credit card purchases. 

Reimagining the credit card experience 

The launch builds on Maya's broader effort to improve key aspects of the credit card experience, from onboarding and card delivery to rewards, credit building, and everyday card management. 

Maya's credit card portfolio includes the Maya Landers Cashback Everywhere Credit Card, a cashback card co-branded with Landers; and Maya Black, a travel and lifestyle credit card that allows cardholders to earn and redeem Maya Miles across Maya's ecosystem. For customers who are new to credit, Maya Black Express serves as a credit-builder card that enables users to establish a credit history while enjoying the same Maya Black experience and benefits. 

Mini Payments is the latest addition to Maya's growing suite of credit card features designed to give customers more convenience, flexibility, and control through a fully digital experience.
