Doja Cat's mother claimed that the singer was physically and verbally abused by her older brother in a court filing.

According to a report by NBC News, Deborah Sawyer requested for Doja to be part of the temporary restraining order she filed against her son, Raman Dalithando Dlamini.

As seen in the petition obtained by media outlets, Deborah claimed that the singer "has experienced physical harm" from Raman, which included bruises and lacerations as well as her "teeth being knocked out."

Aside from physical abuse, Deborah claimed that Raman assaulted Doja verbally "in a very degrading and demeaning [manner]."

She claimed that his actions made Doja "feel unsafe and traumatized."

NBC News reported that the court has partially granted the petition ahead of the hearing on Jan. 31. The judge, however, noted that they found "insufficient good cause shown" in seeking protection for the singer.

Deborah also alleged that Raman abused her "3 to 10 times recently" and "several times in the past," some of which were witnessed by her 13-year-old grandson.

According to her, the latest incident took place on Jan. 10 when he allegedly stopped her from entering her house.

Deborah claimed she also suffered verbal and physical abuse from Raman, which included choking and threats to hit her multiple times. She said it made her feel "constant anxiety and fear" for her safety and wellbeing.

"I need these orders to protect the physical and emotional wellbeing of all parties listed," she said in the court document. "I am not only worried and fearful of physically violent episodes but the tremendous mental and emotional damage that is being done."

Doja has yet to comment on the matter, according to NBC News.
