Weekend hangs: Post-Valentine's Day events you can still enjoy this weekend

This Valentine’s week has been filled with flowers, romantic surprises, balloon hearts, and chocolates that made those who celebrated feel special.

However, since the special occasion fell on a weekday, many haven't had the chance to join and make the most out of the most romantic day of the year.

If you're still up celebrate Valentine's Day with the boo (or your BFFs), here are some post-Valentine's events happening this weekend around the Metro. 

BGC Art Mart

There's so much to do in Bonifacio Global City this weekend!

The "#LoveArt: Love Inside Passionate Art" event is your chance to learn more and showcase your artistic skills with other local artists. You can also shop from participating local artists and watch live performances. This event will be held at Alveo Central Plaza on Feb 17 to 19, from 3 to 9 p.m.  

Also happening in Alveo Central Plaza, BGC is hosting a "Mind Pub: Quiz Night" on Feb. 17, 7:30 p.m. Registration fee is priced at P500. 

Cap off the fun and romantic night and head over to Bonifacio High Street Theater and enjoy a special concert dubbed, "Love Street" featuring renowned local artists Zack Tabudlo and Clara Benin on Feb. 18, 6 to 9 p.m. This special concert is free, so don’t just walk—run as soon as the gate opens at 5 p.m.  

 

"Love Bats" gig at Poblacion, Makati 

In for a music-filled night? Catch IV of Spades member Zild and other local indie artists like Megumi Acorda and Joy Fiction at the "LOVEBATS" gig in Balcony Music House, located in Singian and Molina Streets, Poblacion, Makati City this Feb. 18, 8 p.m.

Admission fee is priced at P300.  

Ruel’s free show in Venice Grand Canal 

Enjoy the romantic vibe of the Venice Grand Canal in McKinley Hill, Taguig and be serenaded by international artist, Ruel.  

The Australian singer-songwriter returns to Manila four years after his "Ready Tour" concert in Manila. Some of his hit songs are Dazed and Confused, Painkiller, and the TikTok-viral song, Golden Hour.  

He is set to release his debut album, 4th Wall on Mar. 3.
