The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas has unveiled its second coin in the 100-Piso Philippine Festivals Commemorative Coin Series for February.

In a video, BSP announced that the coin will feature the Tan-ok ni Ilocano Festival.

In the colored side of the silver coin, two men are depicted celebrating the Basi Festival in Piddig, Ilocos Norte. Surrounding the picture are logos representing the 21 towns and two cities of Ilocos Norte.

There are two diamond-shaped etches on the top and bottom border, symbolizing the coin marks the second month of the year. On its right-hand side is the Tan-ok logo,

Furthermore, an ethnic "banderitas" pattern is seen at the perimeter of the coin.

On its reverse side sits the BSP logo surrounded by the Tan-ok and other festival icons.

The coin will be sold for P5,000.00 this Feb. 28 at the BSP Pop-up Store in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte and will be made available at the BSP store on March 9.

BSP said the price is considered for the precious metal content, limited mintage, and craftsmanship of the coin.

The coins may be used for payment, but they are considered non-circulating legal tender, aimed at collectors and enthusiasts.

In November 2025, President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. helmed the launch of the coin series along with the 10-peso Association of Southeast Asian Nations commemorative coins. Cebu City’s Sinulog Festival was featured in the January coin.
