Where to park, what not to bring, and other reminders for Maginhawa Arts and Food Festival 2025
The Maginhawa Arts and Food Festival is just around the corner!
On Dec. 13, Maginhawa Street will be turned into a food and art hub, where visitors can enjoy fresh and trending dishes from an endless line of food stalls as well as shop from a wide selection of kiosks selling crafts.
That's not all, as bands and artists are taking the stage to perform. This includes SUD, Autotelic, Minaw, Tema, Sunset Rave Party, Parasouls, Over October, mrld, Syd Hartha, Taylor Sheesh, Clara Benin, 6ENSE, NEO, Anima Tierra, Viñas Deluxe, Basilyo, Tugista, Mastafeat, 02 MOBS, Gillage Gang, and Academic Records.
Apart from the concert, expect a sunset rave and fireworks on Saturday evening.
The event area will be along Maginhawa Street, beginning at the corner of Mapagkawanggawa Street and ending at the corner of Mahabagin Street. The stage will be set in front of the barangay hall of Teacher Village East.
Those passing by the area can take the following alternative routes:
- From CP Garcia St. to Maginhawa St. and Malakas St. - go straight along Magiting St., take a left on Mahiyain St., turn right on Mapagkawanggawa St., and swing left on Maginhawa St.
- From Magiting and Mahiyain to CP Garcia - go straight along Mahiyain, turn right on Magiting, take another right on Baluyot St., and turn left on Masinsinan.
- From CP Garcia going to Malingap and Maginhawa - Go straight along Magiting, take a left on Matimtiman, turn right on Malingap, and swing left at Maginhawa.
Visitors can park their cars in one-sided public parking areas along Malingap and Maginhawa—from Mayumi to Marilag and from the pathwalk towards V. Luna.
Take note of the no-parking areas along the event zone, Mapagkawanggawa street, the corner of Malingap and Maginhawa, and Baluyot.
Attendees can be dropped off at the corner of Maginhawa and Mapagkawanggawal, Malingap, Magiting, and Baluyot.
The festival also reminds goers to drink water, load their e-wallets, watch their belongings, wear comfortable clothes, and dispose of trash properly. You should also bring a power bank, as the event will run for 16 hours.
Items like stuffed toys, large purses, sports equipment, fragile objects, laser pointers, weapons, vapes, and cigarettes, and drugs and paraphernalia are not allowed in the venue.
The Maginhawa Arts and Food Festival is happening on Dec. 13 from 9 a.m. to 12 a.m.
