UP opens applications for UPCAT 2027

The University of the Philippines is now accepting applications for UPCAT 2027 for incoming new first-year students for Academic Year 2027-2028.

Aspiring Iskos and Iskas may submit their applications online from March 3 to 30.

UP reminded that the application is not on a first-come, first-served basis, emphasizing that they should double-check all the details before submitting the form. If there are any corrections, do not withdraw the application or create a new account. Instead, contact the online helpdesk and request assistance.

Eligible applicants include current Grade 11 students (Class of 2027) and Grade 12 students who haven't previously taken the UPCAT.

To receive a test permit in July 2026, school officials must complete the Form 2A portal confirmation from March 3 to April 10.

This year's UPCAT exam dates are set for Aug. 1 and 2.

Make sure you have a valid school ID or any government-issued ID on the day of the test.

Following this, applicants must submit their grades in the Form 2B portal, including a hard copy of their marks from Grades 8, 9, 10, and 11, between August 3 and 24.

The UPCAT consists of four subtests: language proficiency in English and Filipino, reading comprehension in English and Filipino, science, and mathematics.
