Nepo Music Fiestaval: A game changer in charity events

Published Oct 10, 2023 5:26 pm

Juan D. Nepomuceno Sons, Inc. (JDN), the developer of township Nepo Center, a homegrown chain of community malls and office spaces, takes pride in hosting Nepo Music Fiestaval or NMF2023, a first in a series of new traditions in the heart of Angeles City.

JDN brings together Filipino music artists in a bid to raise funds to further fuel its mission to help the community. Its north star has always been about helping the community, so all net proceeds will go to the renovation of the city’s heritage landmark, Holy Rosary Parish Church (HRPC).

HRPC, affectionately called “Pisamban Maragul” or Big Church by locals, stands in the heart of the city and needs donations to rebuild its structure since suffering devastating damage after a powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 struck Luzon in April 2019.

NMF 2023 will be happening this Oct. 14 to 15 at The Park at Nepo Center, the future site of Rockwell Nepo’s Power Plant Mall Angeles.

With good vibes in no short supply, JDN wants its cabalen to experience a different kind of October this year, where Angeles’ bright future as the CBD of Central Luzon is celebrated. The Nepo Music Festival celebrates OPM talents while coinciding with the city’s La Naval Twin Town fiesta.

With a festive spirit and inspiration from the Parul Angeles, the “fiestaval” embraces both modern and traditional aspects of Angeles City's rich history.

Party with a purpose

A ticket priced at P1,000 allows you to party with a purpose through the music of top OPM artists. NMF2023 attendees will witness performances by Adie, Al James, Kiyo, Sunkissed Lola, The Juans, DJ Ron Poe, and MC Boo on the first day. Meanwhile, Aia De Leon, Barbie Almalbis, Ebe Dancel, Mayonnaise, Spongecola, and DJ Marc Marasigan will be performing on day two.

The Park at Nepo Center will also have recreational attractions and a flavor fest with food trucks and stalls offering a variety of the town’s cuisine.

JDN believes that members of its community and neighboring towns are willing to help make the world a better place—making for a perfect audience for the NMF2023.

Asked about the impact of NMF2023, Rick N. Wilkerson, president and CEO of JDN Realty Group, said: “Through NMF, we wish to shine the light on Angeles City’s potential and let our cabalens appreciate our city’s vibrant culture and bright future as a nexus or central gathering point. You see, NMF is sitting on the site where Rockwell Nepo’s Power Plant Mall Angeles will soon rise.”

He added, “While all of these are happening, we’re also contributing to the preservation of the city’s heritage. When our community calls for help, JDN heeds the call.”
