PSA: Road works to affect traffic flow in Ortigas Center until June 2026
Heads up, motorists! Ortigas Center, one of Metro Manila’s busiest commercial districts, will undergo significant roadworks affecting traffic flow in several areas.
The Pasig City Public Information Office (PIO) announced that excavation, open trenching, and installation of manholes and conduits will begin on Jan. 27 every 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. It warned motorists that this may cause traffic on certain roads.
The affected roads are the following:
- San Miguel Ave.
- ADB Ave.
- Julia Vargas Ave.
- Sapphire Ave.
- Garnet Rd.
- Opal Rd.
- Ruby Rd.
- F. Ortigas Jr. Rd
- Exchange Rd.
- Lourdes Dr.
- Pearl Dr.
- Amethyst St.
- Escriva Dr.
- Gold Loop
- Jade Dr.
- Topaz Rd.
According to Pasig PIO, the project of Philippine Global Communications, Inc. and Ortigas Center Association, Inc. is expected to be completed on June 30, 2026.
Motorists are advised to plan their trips ahead and take alternate routes to avoid delays.
Earlier in the month, the Department of Transportation issued a traffic advisory indicating that parts of ADB Avenue would be closed in February 2025. This is to make way for road works such as building raised crosswalks and adding speed tables.
