These EV companies are offering free charging
Electric vehicle companies are offering free charging promos until the end of March.
ACMobility announced on its website that charging at all of its EV charging stations will be free from Mar. 27 to 29 in light of the holy week.
The EV car distributor said the promo is open to all EV owners with vehicles compatible with their chargers and users of the Evro app.
To use, simply scan the QR code on the charger with the Evro app, plug the vehicle in, and allow it to charge in the app.
There's no minimum spend for the promo, and available connectors may vary by hub, including Type 2, GBT, and CCS2.
VinFast is also extending its free unlimited charging for all customers until Mar. 31, 2029 at authorized V-Green charging stations in view of current fuel price increases.
In a statement, it said the promo is available for new and existing customers of the brand.
"This initiative reflects VinFast’s commitment to stand with the Filipino people during a time of rising fuel costs while making the transition to electric mobility more accessible and economically beneficial," the company said.
"By removing one of the biggest operating costs of driving, we aim to help Filipino drivers, families, and businesses experience the true advantage of electric mobility," it continued.
Other hubs offering free charging
Earlier in March, DCarge opened its second charging station in Marikina City. And in celebration of this, the company is offering free 120KW DC EV charging until March 31 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
