It's time to book your vacation because the Malacañang Palace has announced the regular and special non-working holidays for 2024.

On Friday, Oct. 13, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. signed Proclamation No. 368 declaring all the holidays for the year 2024.

Under this, the Department of Labor and Employment is expected to implement the guidelines for the proclamation.

For 2024, Marcos Jr. has eliminated the EDSA People Power Revolution anniversary which was traditionally commemorated in mid-February in the list. The list also didn’t include Eid’l Fitr and Eid’l Adha yet as it will be proclaimed once the Islamic calendar has been finalized.

“With this, the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos is advised, at the appropriate time, to recommend to the Office of the President (OP) the actual dates on which Eid’l Fitr and Eid’l Adha holidays will respectively fall,” the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) stated.
