The BPI Institutional Banking Metro Manila Golf Cup, held at Sta. Elena Golf and Country Club, was a memorable gathering with its valued clients, fostering stronger partnerships and camaraderie on the greens.

The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) has successfully concluded the BPI Golf Cup Series, ending the year with stronger and more meaningful relationships with its corporate clients from various locations across the Philippines.

These tournaments are part of the bank’s commitment to one of its core business philosophies: customer obsession. This effort is a testament to BPI’s dedication to excellence in client relations, recognizing the role of its corporate clients in supporting its growth and shaping its products and services through their needs and feedback.

“BPI is committed to delivering innovative products and services, as well as creating unique experiences for our valued clients,” said John-C Syquia, BPI Institutional Banking head.

The BPI Institutional Banking Golf Cup events in Cebu and Davao showcased the bank's commitment to building lasting relationships through shared experiences on the golf course.

“Through the BPI Golf Cup Series, we aim to celebrate and build enduring relationships with our institutional clients and express our gratitude for the role they play in helping us achieve our mission of building a better Philippines—one family, one community at a time.”

This year’s BPI Institutional Banking Golf Cup featured six events, providing participants with a relaxing and enjoyable venue to meet, connect, and network with one another and with BPI executives.

“We are proud to say that all these golf events we hosted were successful and well-received by our valued institutional clients. As we commemorate the conclusion of this series of events, it is important to recognize that, more than the trophies or awards won, it is the camaraderie and friendships formed on the course that holds greater value,” he added.

BPI Institutional Banking also organized golf tournaments exclusively for its Japanese and ManningAgency clients, further strengthening relationships and celebrating shared successes.

The BPI Golf Cup Series aligns with the bank’s “Do More” campaign, which reflects its relentless pursuit of progress and dedication to achieving more—not just to meet but to exceed the expectations of its esteemed clients.

This approach has been integral to BPI in recent years as it strives to uphold its 173-year legacy of delivering reliable and exceptional service while maintaining trust and confidence among its clients.

“Being able to withstand the test of time over the past 173 years is a testament to the kind of institution BPI is: resilient, trustworthy, innovative, and committed to growth. We aim to continue this legacy by doing more—going above and beyond to ensure our clients are well taken care of,” Syquia concluded.

BPI Institutional Banking looks forward to hosting another round of exciting golf events in 2025, continuing the tradition of fostering connections and celebrating success on the green.
