Metro Manila Pride is looking for volunteers for this year's Pride March
June is right around the corner which means it's Pride Month once again! In preparation for the upcoming Pride March, Metro Manila Pride is looking for volunteers to share their time and talents for this year's event.
The organization posted the call on May 24, with over 140 spots for positions ranging from account managers, community fundraising officers, booth personnel, photographers, videographers, video editors, transcribers, illustrators, copywriters, stage manager, talent coordinator, production designer, marshals and more.

To apply, volunteers must be 18 years of age or older and should accomplish the Volunteer Application Form.
The organization will review applications and will invite you to an interview (if the role calls for it). According to MMPride, they will still contact applicants if they're deemed not a fit for the role and may be invited to volunteer for a different position. They will still have other calls for volunteers at a later date.
MMPride also discourages volunteers who wish to apply as a group and urges them to submit applications individually. They are also accepting community and corporate partnerships for the Pride March and Festival program as well as donations.
Deadline for applications is on June 12. Visit mmpride.org/volunteer to learn more.
Since the pandemic, Metro Manila Pride took the annual celebration online. Last year, they held a small gathering in Quezon City as well as a virtual festival for those who couldn't join the in-person festivities.
