Happy Pride!
If you're planning to head out this weekend, we've rounded up some of the Pride events happening this June to help you decide where to celebrate.
Since you'll be stepping out in your best Pride look (as you should), the last thing you need is to get stuck in traffic. Here's a quick guide to the expected road closures and traffic advisories so you can get to the celebration with less hassle.
Metro Manila Pride 2026
After a two-year hiatus, Metro Manila Pride is making its much-awaited return on June 27 at Remedios Circle in Malate, Manila, bringing the annual Pride March and Festival back to its historic roots. Carrying the theme "Bukas, Atin," the event will feature talks on Philippine Pride history by Lakan Umali and the current state of LGBTQIA+ rights by Yell Teresa, alongside the Pride March and Festival calling for equality, safer spaces, and justice for the LGBTQIA+ community.
Festival gates open at 10 a.m., while the Pride March begins at 4 p.m.
Attendees are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and footwear, with rainbow outfits, pride flags, and other colorful attire welcome. Since it's a day-long event, make sure to bring water, sunscreen, and rain gear.
Admission is free and open to members of the LGBTQIA+ community, allies, and supporters.
