7-Eleven Run 2025: A thrilling day of health and fitness
The streets of Manila, Cebu, and Davao came alive last February 2, 2025, for another successful 7-Eleven Run! Running on its 13th year, the event brought all kapitbahays together once again for an exhilarating day dedicated to health and movement
The event drew in over 50,000 runners from all over the country, marking yet another record-breaking feat for the brand. It was held in three of the biggest cities in the nation simultaneously, specifically Filinvest Events Grounds in Alabang, Manila; City di Mare, South Road Properties in Cebu; and SM City Davao in Davao City. Jose Victor Paterno, president and CEO of Philippine Seven Corporation, also attended to fire the starting gun for the 42K division.

In true 7-Eleven spirit of community and togetherness, participants of all ages were welcome to take on the challenge, whether they’re seasoned marathoners, fitness joggers, or families just looking for a fun bonding experience. This included local personalities like Rica Paralejo and Bubbles Paraiso. And for the first time, kids of 5 to 7 years old also got to brave the distance for the inaugural 711-meter category, available for all three locations. A new distance category, the 3K Buddy, was opened, too, in Manila and Cebu, allowing more runners to beat their personal bests, no matter their goals.

Of course, like any friendly competition, glory, medals, and cash prizes were given away to the fastest runners. The top three overall winners for both male and female divisions in the 42K, 32K, and 21K categories will also have the chance to represent the country in an all-expenses paid international marathon competition.

The 21K category winners were Ricky Organiza and Christine Hallasgo (1st), Dickyias Mendoro and Artjoy Torregosa (2nd), and Jhonn Marc Dizon and Joida Gagnao (3rd). The 32K podium finishers were Richard Salaño and Cherry Andrin (1st), Arlan Arbois and Nhea Ann Barcena (2nd), and Jason Padayao and Macrose Dichoso (3rd). While the 42K winners were Eduard Flores and April Rose Diaz (1st), Edsel Moral and Maricar Camacho (2nd), and Jerald Zabala and Rosalyn Tadlas (3rd).
True to its reputation, 7-Eleven brought joy to the rest of the running crowd with post-run goodies from over 30 sampling booths, ensuring no one went home empty-handed. Sponsors and partners included Del Monte, Kopiko, Le Minarale, Cali, Gatorade, Mountain Dew, Pepsi, Sting, Summit, Cobra, Absolute, C2, Refresh Mineral Water, Vitasoy, Coca-Cola, Minute Maid, Wilkins, Fit ‘n Rite, Mogu Mogu, Nature’s Spring, Slurpee, Cornetto, Selecta, Sip Plus, Pocari Sweat, Black Mamba Energy Drink, Fruity Zing, Boss Max3, and TV5.

Part of the proceeds from this staggering turnout will be donated to 7-Eleven’s charity organization, the Philseven Foundation, Inc., a corporation that seeks to safeguard the environment and uplift the vulnerable members of the community.

As 7-Eleven Run 2025 ends with a bang, kapitbahays nationwide are invited to kickstart their health and fitness goals this 2025. Lace up those running shoes, start training as early as now, and be part of another record-breaking run in 2026.
