HIGHLIGHTS: Miss Philippines Earth 2026 coronation night

Before crowning the winners, host James Deakin called on the Elemental Queens of 2025 to do their farewell walk.

His announcement of this year's Elemental Queens, who are essentially the competition's runners-up, came soon after:

The new Miss Philippines Earth 2026 is Rina Andrea Delos Santos from Ballesteros, Cagayan.

And then there were five!

The journey to the crown is reaching its thrilling climax tonight. These five delegates have captured the hearts of the judges and are one step closer to becoming the next Miss Philippines Earth.

3. Tumauini, Isabela
4. Mandaluyong City
5. Agoo, La Union

After showcasing their elegance in the evening gown competition, the Top 10 candidates advanced to the question-and-answer round. Each delegate randomly selected a word and had 30 seconds to speak about it, allowing them to showcase their quick thinking, eloquence, and commitment to environmental advocacy.

The words drawn included dignity, commitment, obligation, credibility, insincere, ungrateful, legacy, and integrity, among others.

We're one step closer to meeting the next Miss Philippines Earth as the competition narrows down to the Top 10 following the swimsuit round.

Clad in fiery red ensembles, the finalists take the stage for the evening gown competition. As they walk the runway, each delegate's environmental advocacy is introduced in the background, giving the audience a glimpse of the causes they hope to champion.

Following the swimsuit competition, host James Deakin announced the top 10 candidates, in no particular order, raising the stakes for the Earth advocates:

Moving into the swimsuit competition, the candidates confidently grace the stage wearing vibrant red swimsuits and elegant white sarongs.

Host James Deakin revealed the evening's special award winners, highlighting the exceptional craftsmanship and heritage showcased in the Best in Cultural Attire category.

Cabanglasan, Bukidnon claimed the Gold distinction, while Cebu and Lantapan, Bukidnon took home Silver and Bronze, respectively.

Alongside the major cultural awards, the Miss Hana award was given to Ballesteros, Cagayan.

Following the special awards presentation, Deakin officially announced the highly anticipated Top 15 finalists moving forward in the competition. They are:

Reigning Miss Earth 2025 Natálie Puškinová greeted the crowd and said she was “mesmerized” by Bukidnon's natural beauty.

She also shared that after the pageant, she would join an ocean cleanup, saying she's glad to take part in such a meaningful activity.

Asked what qualities she is looking for in her successor, Puškinová said she hopes to crown someone with genuine passion.

“Because you cannot be Earth queen if you don’t have it in the bottom of your heart. So I’m definitely looking for a passion," she said.

Tonight's host is James Deakin.

Exuding elegance, the 32 Miss Philippines Earth delegates entered the stage showcasing traditional Manobo wardrobe and headdresses, performing a rhythmic cultural dance.

The ladies then proceeded to introduce themselves and the city or region they are representing.

The night kicked off with a prayer, followed by the Philippine national anthem and the Binukid version of the Bukidnon hymn, Kanak Ha Banuwa.

Malitbog Tourism Officer Morin Amalyn delivered her opening remarks.

“Malitbog chose to host this pageant because of our rhythm with the Miss Earth’s mission. We are not just a backdrop of breathtaking natural wonders; we are a living testament to environmental conservation, ecotourism, and community-led sustainability,” she said. “By welcoming these beauties for a cause, we are showcasing to the Philippines and to the world that the progress of our natural heritage can beautifully march hand-in-hand.”

Malitbog Mayor Gary D. Casiño then welcomed the delegates, guests, and pageant supporters as he underscored the significance of hosting the national competition in the municipality.

“This evening is more than a pageant; it is a celebration of environmental stewardship, cultural heritage, women's empowerment, and our shared responsibility to protect our Earth,” he said.

“Guided by this year’s theme, 'Love in Action,' we are reminded that true beauty shows true service, compassion, and a courage to inspire change,” he added.

Bukidnon 1st District Representative Jose Manuel Alba also shared an inspirational message.

"Miss Philippines Earth fits perfectly with who we are. For over 20 years, this pageant has reminded us that caring for the Earth is not just a hobby or a trend; it is our shared and common responsibility,” he said.

"The brave young women who will stand before us tonight are real champions of this planet. Their voices should inspire millions of Filipinos to plant more trees, to protect our watersheds, and cherish our wildlife," Alba added.
