A powerful magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck offshore Sarangani on June 8, shaking large parts of Mindanao and leaving many residents reeling from its severe impact.
In the hours following the earthquake, reports emerged of damaged homes and buildings, disrupted services, and families forced to evacuate from affected areas. Humanitarian groups, local governments, and volunteers have since begun mobilizing relief efforts to assist communities in need.

Philippine Red Cross
Philippine Red Cross announced that they are accepting donations that will directly support first aid and medical assistance to the victims of the Mindanao earthquake.
It will also be used to provide life-saving food and clean water, shelter kits for displaced families, and hygiene and health kits.

Ayala Foundations Inc. has also opened their donation channels to help communities affected by the recent earthquake.
They stated that they are now coordinating with local partners, volunteers, and affected communities to assess needs and mobilize support for families impacted by the disaster.

The Student Council Alliance of the Philippines has also launched a relief drive for communities affected by the Mindanao earthquake.

University of the East

The University of the East has called on its community to extend help and solidarity to Filipinos affected by the recent earthquake in Mindanao through its Office of Extension and Community Outreach.
Accepted donations include rice, canned goods, instant noodles, hygiene kits, and other basic necessities.
Donations may be dropped off at the UE OECO or NSTP Offices in UE Manila and UE Caloocan.
Save the Children Philippines

Save the Children Philippines is also asking for donations to help vulnerable children and families in the hardest-hit areas of Mindanao.
You can choose to donate P1,500 to help families of five with hygiene essentials, or P2,000 to provide psycho-social support sessions for children and teachers to recover from their trauma and feel safe. If you're feeling really generous, the P3,500 donation will provide a family with household essential items such as cooking and eating utensils, slealing mats, blankets, a flashlight, and a radio.

McDonald's

Through their Kindness Kitchen program, McDonald's is aiming to serve 10,000 meals to frontliners and families affected by the recent earthquake across Southern Mindanao.
According to them, 2,500 meals are for General Santos City where 500 meals have been distributed to most affected communities including rescuers and volunteers.
They are currently asking for help so they can serve more.
