This Halloween, uncover secrets of the Walled City of Intramuros from your home

Is Halloween your favorite holiday? 

We have found a fun and safe way you can spend it during this time: a “One Night in Intramuros” Halloween Tour!

Streaming on WanderManila’s Facebook page, the virtual tour will take place on Oct. 30 at 9 p.m. It will showcase “stories and anecdotes about Intramuros that you may have never heard before” and let you explore the historic place “from the shadows and the dark corners.” 

"The tour focuses on the areas of Intramuros that allegedly have ghost sightings, then we explore the history of the culture to find clues. If people are looking for jumpscares and monsters jumping out of their screens, this is not the tour for them. However, the fact the stories we will be sharing are true makes them scarier and creepier," WanderManila's head tour guide Benjamin Canapi told Philstar L!FE. 

While registration is not required, they are accepting tips via mobile app GCash.

WanderManila is a touring and experiential group that aims to bring excitement to Filipinos via educational and entertaining experiences in the metro. "The group specializes in customized tours to give its clients the best possible experience. We focused on tours last year, and we pivoted to online education due to the pandemic," Canapi said.
