Megaworld eyes 1M sqm of lifestyle mall spaces by 2030

Megaworld is known as the trailblazer for the lifestyle malls concept in the Philippines. This concept started at Eastwood City years ago. It further expanded with Eastwood Mall and the community centers within the township.
Today, Megaworld has 22 lifestyle malls all over the Philippines, with some of its flagship malls located in Uptown Bonifacio in Taguig, Newport City in Pasay, and in Iloilo Business Park. Each of these lifestyle malls carries a unique theme or concept, blending seamlessly with the character of its host township.
By 2030, Megaworld aims to have one million square meters of gross leasable area as it continues to build more mall developments in various Megaworld townships across the Philippines.
Loads of dining, shopping, and entertainment choices
In Uptown Bonifacio, The Palace is a one-stop place for partying and clubbing in Uptown Parade. The iconic Uptown Mall features an eclectic mix of shopping, dining, and leisure options, including Uptown Tempur Cinema, the country’s first-ever premium bed cinema. The township also hosts the first and only Landers Superstore in Bonifacio Global City.
Today, Landers Superstore is Megaworld Lifestyle Malls’ biggest retail partner in terms of space take-up. In The Upper East Bacolod last year, Landers Superstore also opened its biggest branch to date.
Several well-known local and international dining brands call some Megaworld townships home, too, such as those from the Bistro Group and the Moment Group. One of the biggest Wildflour stores in the country today is located in Uptown Bonifacio, while two of the biggest Mary Grace outlets are in Twin Lakes Shopping Village in Laurel, Batangas, and in Newport Mall in Pasay City.
Aside from these, the company has also brought to the Philippines some international establishments for the first time. Among these are Superpark in Eastwood City, the first Wolfgang’s Steakhouse outside of Metro Manila at Boracay Newcoast in Aklan, and soon, the first Morton’s Steakhouse in the Philippines in Uptown Bonifacio.
