Thank you for all the massive deals and discounts, MetroDeal.

The e-commerce website announced that it's shutting down permanently by the end of the month.

"Today, we announce that MetroDeal will cease the sale of deals on May 31," they said in a statement.

"Over the years, your trust and enthusiasm have transformed MetroDeal into a household name, where millions found not just deals, but experiences that enriched lives. Together with our esteemed suppliers, bumuo kami ng mga unforgettable adventures, sumptuous meals, and moments of bliss in beauty and relaxation," MetroDeal continued.

They called their journey a "remarkable" one, "with every deal sealing a partnership, and every voucher a story of connection and joy."

The deals on the site will be active until May 15, though they clarified that the purchased vouchers can still be redeemed until their respective expiration dates.

MetroDeal members would still have access to their accounts as well as their customer support team until Dec. 31. Customer support will be available via phone, Facebook Messenger, and email ([email protected]) until May 31, while it will only be available via email from June 31 to Dec. 31.

Since it was founded in 2011, MetroDeal has been known for its deals and discounts of up to 90% on restaurants, spas, activities, shopping, and travel among others in the Philippines and Thailand.
