Dr. Martens is making a comeback in the Philippines!

The German-founded British footwear and apparel brand announced that it is set to bring back its iconic footwear a year after it shut down all of its physical stores in the country.

In its announcement on its social media pages, Dr. Martens said that they will be selling products at Level 2 of Robinsons Manila on Sept. 6. It is unclear whether this is merely a temporary sale or if they will open a physical store again for their customers.

The fashion brand known for its boots and platform sandals had its last day of operations in the country on Dec. 31, 2022 after 10 years in the market.

Launched in 1945, Dr. Martens had become a must-have staple for both celebrities and casual fashionistas through the years as it goes with basically anything.

Some familiar faces who have worn them include the likes of Maine Mendoza, Maxene Magalona, Solenn Heusaff, and more.

Meanwhile, another footwear brand, Timberland Philippines, is also holding a sale this September as they prepare to close down all their stores in the country soon.

They are currently having a Buy One, Get One sale of all their products. The event began on Aug. 15 and will last for more than a month, ending on Sept. 30.
