Major malls closed Nov. 1 due to Typhoon Rolly, but offer shelter, free parking

As Typhoon Rolly (Goni) continues to barrel through Luzon, major malls in Metro Manila and some parts of Luzon are closed the whole day while others have closed early.

Here’s a list of their announcements. 

Ayala Malls has closed its branches in Luzon and is offering its malls to people stranded nearby to take shelter from extreme weather and flooding.

 

SM Supermalls closed all its branches in Luzon at 1 p.m. today, with the exception of some branches in northern Luzon.

Megaworld malls are offering free parking overnight, charging stations in select areas, and the use of restrooms and lounge areas.

Robinsons closed its malls in NCR, Central and Southern Luzon at 12 noon, but malls in North Luzon and other provinces remain open. 

Araneta Center in Quezon City is also closed today.

VistaMall closed its branches at 1 p.m. and is offering overnigh parking, restrooms, power outlets for charging, and free WiFi access.
