Feeling the heat? Here's where you can enjoy halo-halo for half the price

Summer may be over, but there are times when the weather still calls for some halo-halo.

If you feel like cooling down with this Pinoy dessert, you'd be happy to know that a Filipino restaurant is letting you enjoy it for half the price.

In a Facebook post, Kuya J Restaurant announced that it's offering 50% off its crowd favorite Halo-Halo Espesyal for a limited time only.

The sweet offering is available in different variants. There's the traditional version—the Halo-Halo Espesyal—featuring the classic staples with milky shaved ice. There's also the Ube Halo-Halo Espesyal with ube-flavored ice instead of just milk, which makes the menu item more exciting.

The Halo-Halo Espesyal items are topped with leche flan and cornflakes for more flavor and texture.

The promo is available for dine-in and takeout transactions until Nov. 30.
