The famous Manhattan house that was the home of fictional character Miranda Priestly (portrayed by Meryl Streep) in the cult-favorite film The Devil Wears Prada is now up for sale.

Yes, that very same home that Andrea Sachs (portrayed by Anne Hathaway) was ordered to deliver the book to is currently listed at Modlin Group for $27 million or P1.5 billion.

Built in 1907, the famous Neo-Italian Renaissance style six-story townhouse located at 129 East 73rd Street, Upper East Side in New York City boasts an elegant style featuring limestone, marble, and woodworking by Diamond Barrat. The façade features a double door with a guilloche enframement.

In the first floor is a marble fireplace where you can chill while sitting on the velvet chairs.

It also has a powder room and large coat closets leading to a door that features an accent of Anigre wood paneling.

Future buyers will also enjoy the fully furnished kitchen with premium appliances, Carrara marble and stainless steel countertops, marble flooring, and industrial lights from the 1930s that are attached to the pressed tin ceiling.

It also has a dedicated breakfast area with a skylight ceiling and a discreet powder room.

The six-story house also has a parlor floor. Guests will be welcomed to another living room that has three French doors, high ceiling up to 12 feet that gives a fresh ambiance.

It also has floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and two large fireplaces. On the same floor, you can also enjoy a fully furnished service kitchen and a dining area that features “Tao’s Velvet” panel that leads to a terrace.

The townhouse comprises a total of seven bedrooms. The main bedroom is found on the third floor and it has a fireplace, spacious walk-in closet, a Juliet company, and a bathroom that has a vanity and medicine cabinet.

Exploring further, the bathroom boasts a five-foot oculus window that lets the sunlight in while you relax in the tub.

Three more bedrooms and an indoor gym are found on the fourth floor. One of the bedrooms also has a fireplace, a large dressing room, and a windowed bathroom. You may also do your laundry in a full-sized washer and dryer in the corridor.
