What’s new at Newport World Resorts

Michelin Guide-listed hotel Manila Marriott Hotel at Newport World Resorts now opens its Michelin-selected Cru Steakhouse every Sunday for steak and wine lovers with Tomahawk Sunday Lunch, a first time that this is being done since it opened its doors in 2009.

Chef Richard Hubilla 

Richard Hubilla is the chef at the only hotel-based steakhouse with Michelin Selected distinction. He was also the Philippine Culinary Cup 2025 Chef of the Year and grills a perfectly cooked tomahawk to your liking. The selection includes Ruby Reserve Australian Wagyu Tomahawk MB6 (MB means marbling score. Australian Wagyu is graded up to 9+); Rosedale Ruby Angus Tomahawk MB3+; and Five Founders Tomahawk MB2+. It comes with a starter, a choice between Cru Caesar Salad or Wild Mushroom Soup. Choices of one side dish include whipped potatoes, five-cheese baked macaroni, black truffle risotto, or Cru fries. For vegetables, they offer creamed spinach, braised carrots, cauliflower au gratin, or steamed broccoli. No sauce is needed for that wonderful grilled aged meat flavor but one can choose from four choices of sauces—black peppercorn, forest mushroom, blue cheese, or chimichurri.

Dessert includes Burnt Caramel Cheesecake, Death by Chocolate, or Apple Galette to cap off a memorable lunch in the award-winning Cru Steakhouse. Contemporary plated dishes like Crusted Chicken Roulade or Grilled Barramundi Fillet can be ordered separately.

Newport’s other Michelin-selected Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill Philippines now offers “Dirty Fridays”—a weekly burger-and-cocktail ritual set to mambo beats and late-night revelry. It is a high-energy weekly dining concept that brings together indulgent signature burgers, loaded “dirty fries,” and crafted martinis—served with a soundtrack of up-tempo, Latin-influenced mambo rhythms. This takes place every Friday from 12 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Dirty Fridays transforms the restaurant into a lively end-of-week destination.

Gordon Ramsay’s Beef Burger 

A dedicated menu features three brand new Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill’s signature burgers—Lamb Burger layered with tzatziki (yogurt and cucumber), baby gem lettuce, and red onion pickle; Spicy Fried Chicken Burger with wasabi and sesame coleslaw and house pickles; and the Beef Burger, stacked with bacon, onions, chutney, black garlic aioli, cheddar, and pickles.

Gordon Ramsay’s Lamb Burger 

The experience gets even “dirtier” with a selection of loaded dirty fries to be paired with any burger selection. Options include Chili con Carne Dirty Fries loaded with bacon bits, tomato salsa, and finished with a rich Mornay sauce and crème fraîche; Fiesta Ham & Goat Cheese Dirty Fries topped with cured ham, bell peppers, and a bold spice rub; and Spanish Chorizo & Egg Dirty Fries, layered with caramelized onion, jamón Ibérico, cured egg yolk, and a dusting of paprika, The combination is priced at P1,288.

Gordon Ramsay’s Spicy Fried Chicken Burger 

No Friday is complete without a drink in hand. Guests add martinis to their meal! On offer are the Dirty Martini, the Sour Cherry Martini, or the Pineapple Mango Martini. For guests who want to sample it all, get the Martini Flight featuring all three martinis.
