LIST: Newly opened cafés and restaurants in Boracay to enjoy on your next trip

Enjoying the fine white sand while basking under the sun is a mesmerising experience to have in Boracay—but a vacation will never be complete without discovering new food and flavors.

While starting a business in the middle of a global pandemic may seem like a risky move, some entrepreneurs saw it as an opportunity to capitalize on the revenge travel wave. There's a new Mexican place that features the first mezcal bar in Boracay, a new Indian restaurant that serves up heritage dishes, and a new go-to Korean place offering Korean comfort food.

Here, we list down some new cafes and restaurants that have opened in Boracay in 2022.

Little Taj Boracay

If you are looking for different but still familiar cuisine, Little Taj is the one to consider. Recognized as one of the visit-trendy restaurants in Boracay by Cebu Pacific Smile Magazine, this restaurant recently opened in April of this year and offers traditional Indian dishes serving from curries to lassie to biryani.

Little Taj is an Indian curry house of Nonie's, which began operational a year ahead, located at Hue Hotel and Resort at Station 2, and is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Heraone Bunsik Korean Restaurant

Established in August 2022, Hearone Bunsik aims to bring hallyu vibe by serving up Korean street food and ramen. If Korean isn't your thing, they also offer healthy breakfast dishes to kick start your day in Boracay.  

Heraone Bunsik is open from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and is located at Boracay Bulabog Rd, Malay, Aklan. You may also prefer a quick take-out in their one-stop store at Unit 99, Phase, Boracay Island, 4 D'mall de Boracay.

Salsa Fusion Restaurant

It goes without saying that eating with a view of is a top-tier experience, so not check out this Filipino restaurant that does just that?

Salsa Fusion Boracay offers a fiesta of Filipino, Spanish, and Mexican cuisines on their menu including Costillas de Cerdo and Prawns Salvatore as one of their proud dishes.

The resto opened its doors in January of this year and has impressively garnered positive feedback since its operation. Located at Station 1 along Zone 4, Malay, Aklan, this top-rated dining is the one you shouldn't miss.

Rainbow Cafe and Lounge

If you're tired of always eating a heavy meal during your stay on the island then Rainbow Cafe and Lounge is one of the best places to go.

This restaurant gives off a different type of service as it divides its business hours from a cafe, lounging area, and then dining place, so you'll always have the option whether to enjoy coffee, chill out with friends, or have dinner with the family.  

Their 'Happy Hour' may give you time to treat yourself to a cup of coffee as they are open between 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Nigi-Nigi Too Resort, Station 2. They remain operational until 11:00 p.m. for dining.
