Need Christmas gift ideas for the car lover in your life? If so, then you'd be pleased to know that you could make their holiday season a memorable one by gifting them this "extremely rare" Aston Martin.

Salcedo Auctions, the Philippines' leading auction house specializing in fine arts and collectibles, is set to host its annual year-end sale Under the Tree: The Wish List this November. The auction features over a hundred works of important Philippine art, fine antique hardwood furniture and furnishings, among many other valuable collectibles.

One item that could catch the eye of car collectors and enthusiasts is the extremely rare Aston Martin DBS V12.

Described as "the only one of its kind in the Philippines," Salcedo Auctions boasts it as being the car of choice in the 2006 James Bond movie Casino Royale.

With its distinctive silver grey paint color named after the film, you'll surely channel the suave and sophisticated aura of the skillful James Bond.

Aston Martin is a British luxury sports car manufacturer whose products have become regarded as a British cultural icon. This is prominently due to James Bond using their models in a myriad of his feature films, starting from the DB5 model in the 1964 film Goldfinger

The bidding price for the Aston Martin DBS V12 starts at P11,000,000. It's a hefty price indeed, and if you're having second thoughts about acquiring the tough yet elegant vehicle, it's worth noting that the model got offered only as a limited edition. It's one of only 84 cars to have been manufactured with 2+2 seating, and one of only 368 out of 2000 Casino Royale cars to have ever been produced by Aston Martin’s Warwickshire factory over a five-year period.

Aside from the glamorous ride, other rare items that you can find and possibly acquire in the upcoming Salcedo Auctions sale include paintings from the likes of Vicente Manansala, Ang Kiukok, and Fernando Amorsolo.

The Under the Tree: The Wish List live and online auction will take place on Nov. 26 at 2:00 p.m. at the NEX Tower Podium Level in Makati City. You can also preview the items beginning on Nov. 12 in the same venue and will run daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
