Hello, road trip! Victory Liner introduces business class style sleeper buses

Published Oct 19, 2023 1:23 pm

A road trip sounds fun until you think about your legs cramped for hours, driving for too long, and paying for gas and tolls. But now, with this new luxury sleeper bus, you can just leave and get to your destination in style.

To celebrate its 78th anniversary, Victory Liner introduced its newest luxury Royal Class Sleeper Bus, which will start operating on Oct. 23 with trips to Baguio.

This fully air-conditioned bus is dubbed as the "most luxurious service class" for land transport. Think business class but for buses—yes, you can stretch your legs, fully recline your seats into a bed, and have your own curtain if you want some privacy.

Each suite features adjustable aircon vents, charging ports, cup holders, and a reading light. An amenity kit, snacks, and a free blanket will also be given to each guest. What's more, the Royal Class also has an in-bus toilet.

For your own peace of mind, the state-of-the-art bus has "Volvo's safety features and a real-time driver behavior monitoring system to prevent any untoward incidents."

The fare from Cubao to Baguio and Baguio to Cubao are at P1,500 with departures at 10:15 a.m. and 12:15 a.m.

Those going for the Kamias-Tabuk and Tabuk-Kamias routes will pay P2,200 with departures at 6:00 p.m.

And those going to Tuguegarao from Kamias and vice-versa will pay P2,300. Buses departing Kamias leave at 7:45 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., while buses departing from Tuguegarao leave at 6:20 p.m. and 7:45 p.m.

According to its website, limited trips are available online at the moment.

Victory Liner does not accept Smart Padala or any other offline methods of payment for tickets bought online.

If you're availing of student discounts, senior citizen discounts, and PWD discounts, you must purchase your tickets from their terminal ticket booths.
