Fancy an artsy afternoon with your pet? Ayala Museum to welcome furry friends at ‘PAWseum Day’ on April 26

Our pets are the perfect companions for any adventure. They comfort us, join us on our morning jogs, and now, they can join us in the museum, too.

In a move toward inclusivity, the Ayala Museum is opening its doors to our furry friends. On Sunday, April 26, the museum and Biyaya Animal Care are hosting Pawseum Day, an event that recognizes pets as integral parts of our community.

The heart of the event lies in the unique opportunity to take a historic walkthrough together. For the first time, cats and dogs are invited to explore the 2nd-floor Diorama Experience.

The ground floor will house the Advocacy Hub featuring insightful guest talks and a mini pledge exhibit.

You can also visit the Pledge Wall to support the #StrayFreeRabiesFreePhilippines2035 movement. Guests will receive a coloring sheet to draw their pet family, which then becomes a visible pledge of allyship on a curated installation.

But that's not all; you can browse the different merchant booths and enjoy interactive pet spaces and activities designed for pets. The event is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Tickets are priced at P200 for the ground floor event + Diorama Experience without pet, and P300 for the ground floor event + Diorama Experience with one pet.

Guests are encouraged to pre-register here.

According to Biyaya and Ayala Museum, there are several essential guidelines to keep in mind to ensure the safety of all.

First, you must bring your pet’s up-to-date vaccination record or an Ayala Malls Pet ID for registration. While there is no size limit for pets, the museum maintains a strict 1:1 guest-to-pet ratio to ensure proper supervision. If you wish to bring a second furry friend, an additional ticket must be purchased, which includes admission for another human companion to help you manage your pets.

All pets are also required to wear a full diaper at all times.

Medium to large pets must be kept on a short leash at all times, while carriers or strollers are highly encouraged for smaller companions.

The organizers noted that entry to the 2nd-floor Diorama Experience will be managed in batches to prevent overcrowding.

While your pets are welcome to enter the Diorama exhibition, the other museum galleries are not yet equipped for animals. If you would like to explore the rest of the museum’s collections, you may do so after 3 p.m. with a separate ticket, though pets will not be allowed in the galleries during those hours.
