The Sunday Cut

The Sunday Cut is a new monthly brunch held every first Sunday of the month at Raging Bull Chophouse and Bar at the Shangri-La at The Fort. This is, dare I say, the best brunch experience I’ve had in a very long while. Guests can enjoy unlimited premium cuts from the live carving station, a seafood cocktail bar, artisan charcuterie, classic chophouse favorites, and decadent desserts, with the option to elevate the experience through free-flow beverages.

Guests can start with the generous spread of premium charcuterie, highlighted by 24-month Ibérico Cebo ham, artisan cured meats such as saucisson, freshly baked breads, and seasonal accompaniments, before exploring the seafood cocktail bar featuring tiger prawns, lobster medallions, dressed crab, mussels, calamari, and seared scallops. They have an à la minute Caesar salad station and offer optional enhancements such as Oscietra caviar, seared foie gras, or roasted bone marrow to elevate the experience.

Seafood station

The brunch is centered around a live carving station with roasted on-the-bone MS4 Tajima Wagyu Tomahawk and bone-in Ibérico pork chop, complemented by classic chophouse sides including Yorkshire pudding (best in Manila for me), beef fat Brabant potatoes, mashed potatoes, four-cheese mac and cheese, creamed spinach, broccolini, roasted carrots, mustards, salts, and house-made gravies.

Cheese and dessert station

The brunch concludes with a selection of artisanal cheeses and handcrafted desserts, including classic tiramisu, opera cake, raspberry tartlets, pecan pie, cognac truffle, and a smoked bourbon dark cherry ice cream.

Guests may opt to add a free-flow beverage package for an additional P2,500 net per person, featuring a selection of champagne (they serve different types every month), wines, classic cocktails, premium spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.
