Blue Bottle Coffee beans are now in PH supermarkets. Here's where you can find them
Coffee connoisseurs, here's great news: You can now pick up specialty Blue Bottle Coffee beans at select supermarkets across the Philippines.
One of the global advocates of single-origin coffee, the Blue Bottle Coffee chain is much-loved because of its meticulous flavor profile and precise brewing techniques. The company sources its beans from "smallholder communities, co-ops, and estates" that are all dedicated to producing great coffee using healthy production processes, according to its website.
Based on data from the Global Coffee Report, Blue Bottle Coffee has 140 cafés spread out across six countries: the US, where it originated, Japan, South Korea, mainland China, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
Now, its beans are available in Manila. Bags of Blue Bottle Coffee beans were spotted on shelves in the newly opened Antipolo branch. And in a viral Threads post, Content Creator Jason Go, known online as vlogger Bradley Tries, gleefully shared he found Blue Bottle Coffee beans in the Power Plant branch of the supermarket chain.
While the company is yet to release an official statement about it, so far, three variants of the beans have been seen on the supermarket shelves: Espresso, Bold, and Balanced.
Espresso whole beans has tasting notes of chocolate, nougat, and brown sugar. The Bold whole beans come with tasting notes of dark chocolate and marshmallow. The Balanced whole beans feature caramel, lemon zest, and cocoa tasting notes.
Each bag goes for P1,449 for 12 oz.
Meanwhile, Nespresso also teamed up with Blue Bottle Coffee with the launch of the "Nola Style Blend," a chicory-flavored coffee with notes of malted cereal and caramel.
The Nola Style Blend is available for Nespresso Vertuo machines starting July 11 through their website, the Nespresso Mobile App, and at Nespresso boutiques in Power Plant Mall, Robinsons Magnolia, One Bonifacio High Street, TriNoma, Podium, Mitsukoshi BGC, SM Mall of Asia, and Ayala Center Cebu. It is also available in pop-up stores in Glorietta 3, Greenbelt 5, Alabang Town Center, Greenhills Mall, Shangri-La Plaza, and SM North Edsa, SM Seaside Cebu.

In 2017, Nestlé acquired a majority stake in Blue Bottle Coffee, according to a press release. By March 2026, Global Coffee Report wrote Chinese coffee chain Luckin Coffee was set to acquire the company from Nestlé.
