#ShareTheLight this Christmas with McDonald’s

Published Dec 14, 2021 3:48 pm

Christmas lights and other site attractions always bring out the child in us. This season of merriment, McDonald’s Philippines took it up a notch to attract both the young and young-at-heart as it unveiled its “Ride-Thru Light Shows” in three select Ride-Thru locations.

From Nov. 29 to Jan. 2, 2022, customers will have a swell time ordering their McDonald’s favorites with “Ride-Thru Light Shows” at its branches in McKinley West in Taguig City; Alabang West in Las Piñas; and Savano Park in Bulacan.

Have yourself a merry and icy Christmas when passing through the “Icy Wonderland Ride-Thru” at McDonald’s McKinley West. Drive through a factory of dreams at the “Happyland Ride-Thru” in McDonald’s Alabang West in Las Piñas, and celebrate a traditional Pinoy holiday with the “Parol Holiday Ride-Thru” at McDonald’s Savano Park in Bulacan.

Ada Lazaro, McDonalds' senior marketing manager, said that they are planning to make the light shows a yearly tradition, as McDonald’s plan to expand across the country.

“Ideally, we can extend it to select stores in Visayas and Mindanao. Then make it a rotational event that people can look forward to every year,” she said.

With the launch of the “Ride-Thru Light Shows” last week, McDonald’s makes it clear: every vehicle—whether you’re on a bicycle or even a kalesa—is welcome to see and enjoy the majestic order tunnels decked with colorful lights!

Golden Arches’ golden goal

Christmas is all about sharing, and the fast food chain giant commits to this mission through the McDonald’s Kindness Kitchen. It will distribute meals to over 7,000 chosen beneficiaries, while its stores will donate one million Happy Meal books and toys to school beneficiaries.

Apart from the already expansive charity service, McDonald’s Kindness Kitchen will also launch its Share-A-Meal program 12 days before Christmas. This project gives its customers a chance to send McDonald’s meals to their charity of choice. Just visit any McDonald’s store and fill out the Share-A-Meal card. Donation choices include 15 Happy Meals, seven McShare Boxes, and 30 Kindness Kitchen Meals.

With this, McDonald’s will grant over 1,000 wishes and share over 18,000 meals by Dec. 25, truly a noble way to spend the holidays.

Share your blessings this holiday season by visiting McDonald’s stores or ordering via the McDelivery PH App or its website.
