Wanderland Festival teases comeback after 2-year hiatus
Are you ready to roam, wanderers?
Wanderland Music and Arts Fest shocked fans with a surprise announcement teasing their return after two years.
In the video shared on their Instagram page last Aug. 9, a radio announcer can be heard enthusiastically saying: "Make some noise, Wanderland Festival is set for two days of back-to-back music and art..." before the audio fades out.
Fans were quick to flock to the post to share their excitement over the festival's much-awaited return.
Wanderland 2020 was set to see the likes of Joji, No Rome, Raveena, Bruno Major, Sabrina Claudio, Apollo, Foals, Flu, and IV of Spades before it was abruptly canceled amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The seventh year run of the event was set to occur on March 7 and 8, 2020, at the Filinvest Event Grounds.
The Festival also shared some good news for Wanderland 2020 goers, as they also commented under the post that their tickets will still be honored three years later.
"For Wanderland 2020 ticket holders, your tickets will be honored at the next #WanderlandMusicFest currently set to happen in 2023."
Wanderland's return is just one of the many live events and concerts returning to the Philippines as restrictions ease after the height of the pandemic.
Other in-person events returning to the country include art fairs, K-Pop concerts, rock shows, and 88rising's Head In The Clouds Festival happening in December of 2022.
