Rita's Italian Ice permanently closes in the Philippines this January 15; offers BOGO promo on all items

Another international food brand is closing its doors in the Philippines.

Rita's Italian Ice will be closing its doors after seven years in the country, it announced on Facebook.

"To all our friends, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your patronage and support for the last seven years we've been in the Philippines. We're sorry to say that we have reached the end of our journey here," they wrote.

The American chain said it will be closing their stores in Manila permanently on Jan. 15, 2022. They also added that they will be having a Buy 1 Take 1 promo until Saturday.

"Thank you so much for all the memories."

Rita's Italian Ice opened their first branch in Virra Mall, Greenhills, San Juan City last November 2015.

They are known for their Italian ice and frozen custard desserts.
